AMBA CO., d.o.o., Ljubljana has an established, documented, implemented and maintained quality management system in accordance with the Slovenian standard SIST ISO 9001:2000.
A certificate (no.: 12 100 23376 TMS) was issued by the company TÜV Management Service GmbH for the field of research, printing, processing and sale of flexible packaging.
The Quality Rules represents the primary management tool for guaranteeing the quality of our products, processes and the business operations of the company. The Rules identify processes and described procedures for the planning, management and control of the process implementation.
The quality management system is regularly reviewed using internal and external assessments, and constantly improved with the introduction of corrective and preventive measures.
According to a preclusive agreement, a review of the quality management system and eventual completion with specified requests is possible, also from the side of the customers. |

An environmental management system has been established at AMBA CO., d.o.o.
Our business operation is entirely harmonised with Slovenian and EU legislation with regards to environmental protection. In the research and development of packaging materials we follow the newest trends in the use of environmentally friendly raw materials and technological procedures. Wherever possible, we use biodegradable and recyclable materials. We advise and encourage our customers to order packaging made of environmentally friendly materials.
We have optimized our technological procedures in such a way, that they guarantee the minimal use of energy and raw materials. We supervise waste production and waste disposal.
For the lamination of multilayered packaging materials, we use two-component adhesives without solvents. The solvents being used in printing for the cleaning of printing machines are managed from machines in a closed circle, to the distillation device and back into the system for the rinsing of printing units. With the project of phasing out evaporable organic substances (which will, according to law, be realized by November 2007) we intend to reduce air pollution and optimize consumption of energy for the heating of technological air for the drying process on printing machines, as well as heating and ventilation of the building.
We measure and control our influence on the environment and place them at the disposal of authorized institutions.
The environmental management system is adjusted to the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard while a certification by an external, independent foundation is planned for the year 2006. |
